Food Safety Supervisor – Full Day Course for Community Settings $385
We offer face to face and virtual food safety supervisor courses for community settings (early years, OSHC, aged care and disability settings) (HLTSS00061 Food safety supervision skill set – for community services and health industries). This qualification is valid for five years.
Our courses enable students to complete all assessment on the day, and include industry specific content designed for those working in community settings. Our courses meet the requirements of Nationally Recognised Training, whilst preparing Food Safety Supervisors to supervise and oversee day to day operations and to prevent and recognise food safety hazards.
Participants who successfully complete this course should be able to implement safe food handling practices and identify potential food safety hazards in their setting, manage strategies to prevent, control and eliminate food safety hazards, and monitor food safety practices.
Please note, in order to attend our virtual course via Zoom, students must have access to the following:
- Internet
- Zoom platform
- Laptop or computer (with camera/video and microphone/audio)
- Access to a kitchen to complete a small food preparation task
