Mealtimes, Food and Nutrition for Early Years Educators (0 to 5 year olds)

This training aims to provide you with skills and knowledge for creating positive food and mealtime experiences for children in your early years service. The training covers the topics of feeding development of 0-5 year olds, infant feeding, mealtimes, and positive food framing. Our online nutrition training can help settings meet and exceed their requirements under the National Quality Standard.

Mealtimes, Food and Nutrition for Kindergarten and Preschool (3 to 5 year olds) (2025 course coming soon)

This training aims to provide early years educators with skills and knowledge for creating positive food and mealtime experiences for children in early years services. The training covers the topics of feeding development of 3-5 year olds, mealtimes, positive food framing, and supporting families who provide lunchboxes.

Level 1 – Safe Food Handling for the Early Years Sector

Our Online Food Safety training covers the food safety basics that all staff working in the early years sector need to be aware of. Our Online Food Safety training can help settings meet and exceed their requirements under the National Quality Standards. This food safety training course meets the requirements of Standard 3.2.2A Food Safety Management Tools and covers all the necessary food safety requirements needed for food handlers under the new standard.

Level 2 – Safe Food Handling for the Early Years Sector (2025 course coming soon)

This training is the second in a series of food safety courses designed for educators and cooks. This session builds on knowledge gained from Level 1 by exploring more complex food safety concepts. It also takes an in-depth look at food experiences with children and important steps we can take to ensure these valuable learning experiences are safe for all. This food safety training course meets the requirements of Standard 3.2.2A Food Safety Management Tools and covers all the necessary food safety requirements needed for food handlers under the new standard.
