Taste Texture Variety Project

Taste Texture Variety Project

The ‘Exploring Taste Texture and Variety Project’ was proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government.

The project aim was to raise awareness and provide information directly to families and early childhood workers regarding the importance of giving children the opportunity to experience food texture appropriate to their age and stage of development.  These important experiences support healthy food variety later in life, helping to minimise health risks and  promote speech development, oral health and motor skill development.

Nutrition Australia Qld continue to deliver this workshop (face to face), please contact us via foodfoundations@naqld.org or call 07 3257 4393 for more information.
